Hello Again, 

I would like to present to you the latest version of your plan/package, This version reflects all latest changes.  

Things to Note:

  • These are estimates for 5 nights/6 days/

    • Accommodation 6-8 people

    • Activities - 6 people

  • We have adapted to the recent changes the US government announced in regards to travel to Cuba. Our services are the same, but how your trip needs to be tracked, and reported, if audited, has changed a bit.  I will explain as we get closer, but Let me know if you have any questions about this. 

Accommodations

  • The hotel you have chosen is located in Centro Habana.  This is the heart of the city. Where you will be able to see and experience all sides of the city and Cuban society. 

  • Feel free to explore it, and get lost in it. It is safe, and beautiful in its own way. 

  • This area is the most central, and located near Old Havana, as well as Vedado.  You can technically walk to both of these areas.

  • You are in for a treat. I hope you enjoy it. 

Malecon 663 - Boutique Hotel - 3 Rooms 

  • Small boutique/artsy hotel in the heart of Centro Havana. 

  • Great accommodations, decor, service, location.  This place is pretty unique, like nothing else in the city, great little bar, art everywhere, closer to old town, across from the ocean (No beach, but the Malecon).

  • No pool, but they do have a small cool rooftop,  a suite with its own terrace overlooking the ocean, and views from the second floor as well. Also, this is one of the first/only places to have wifi signal onsite. No need to go to a hot spot park or big hotel (Wifi card still necessary)

  • They host sometimes small events, like live music, art shows, etc. Great opportunity to mingle with a selective group of locals into the arts and music scene. 

  • 3 rooms in total. 

    • Room One -  Double Room​ (Queen Bed)

    • Room Two -  Triple Double Room (Queen Bed and Sofa Bed)

    • Room Four - Suite (Queen Bed and sofa bed)

Itinerary 

 

Day one - Friday, Nov 1st

  • 8:45AM  Arrival - Airport Pick up​

  • 10:00 AM - Arrival to the hotel. Given the time, you will not be able to check in, but you could drop your bags, and freshen up a bit. 

  • Once Upon a Time Walk the streets of Old Habana, the main touristic area of the city, with your host. We are going to enjoy the day in Old Town learning about history, fun facts, and some of best places to explore. Route can be influenced by any particular requests you might have.  Make sure to check out some great restaurants and bars after the tour. Transportation and guide provided. 

  • 1:00 PM Del Frente - Lunch Reservation

  • Afternoon - we can play it by ear. We can continue to explore old town, or head back to the hotel to rest and recharge. 

  • 8:30PM Casa Miglis - Dinner Reservation. Walking Distance

  • After Dinner.  Options for those who want to go out available. 

Day two​ - Saturday, Nov 2nd

  • 8 AM to 6 PM - Day Trip to Viñales. A Fascinating countryside town two hours from the city with an amazing landscape.  We will show you around while horse back riding. See tobacco and coffee plantations, visit a bee/honey farm, learn about local flora and fauna, swim in a lake, etc.  Category is country side extravaganza! 

  • 7:45 PM Departure for Tropicana Show and Dinner. Private transportation. Already paid.  

  • After Dinner.  Options for those who want to go out available. 

Day Three - Sunday, Nov 3rd

  • 11 AM to 5 PM Beach Please. A favorite of our clients. We arrange transportation to one of the most beautiful beaches near Habana. Gay Beach!! Only 40 minutes aways.  You can rent chairs, umbrellas, order drinks and lunch from your chair, and have a good old time.  I will make sure you guys have . a great time while relaxing at this beautiful spot.

  • 8:00 PM - El Cocinero  - Dinner Reservation. Transportation required.

  • After Dinner. Fabrica de Arte Cubano (recommendation)

 

Day Four - Monday, Nov 4th

  • 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM Bahia de Cochinos - Private transportation and guide to visit one of the most important sites in Cuba.  During this trip we have multiple options for stops, We can decide the day of the trip which stops the groups wants to do based on time and interests. Options are:

    • Fidel’s command headquarters during the Bay of Pigs invasion (Entrance fee: 3 cuc/person)

    • Zapata Wetland and visit the crocodile farm (Entrance fee: 5cuc/person)

    • Taino Village (boat ride to get there. This activity could take 2 hours (entrance fee: 15cuc/person)

    • Cueva de los Peces (ideal for snorkeling). You can rent the snorkeling equipment there.

    • Bay of Pigs Museum (entrance fee: 3 to 5 cuc/person)

    • Enjoy swimming in Playa Larga beach

    • Lunch time

  • 9:00 PM Porto Habana - Dinner Reservation. Transportation Required

  • After Dinner. Cocktails in Gay Bar near by - drag show (Recommendation)

Day Five - Tuesday, Nov 5th

  • Free morning - Afternoon. Recommendations available.

  • 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Classic Riding. Enjoy the beauty of Habana onboard convertible classic American cars.  Late afternoon (or morning), for three hours. This is experience would be led by two of our favorite guides. They will take you to multiple points of interest and some of their favorites spots too, and share with you history and interesting facts of the city.  We would need two or three cars. 

  • 7:00 PM - La Guarida - Dinner Reservation. Walking Distance 

  • After Dinner. Drinks at Kia Sara. Live piano player and singer. 

Day Six - Wednesday, Nov 6th

  • 12:15PM - Airport transfer. You should be arriving at the airport before 1pm; two hours before your flight. Please let me know if you prefer a different time. 

  • 3:00PM - Flight .

Please note:

  • Nights out - I recommend based on your preferences places to go and explore for night live. Live music, bars, etc.  (e.g. Tropicana, gay nights, etc.)

  • Lunch/Dinners -  I provide a list of recommendations for restaurants based on my own and previous guests' experiences.  You tell us where you want to go and we will make all reservations for you. I am happy to provide suggestions as well if you are not sure.  This is valuable, as places in Havana are a hit or miss. 

  • Transportation We can also pre-arrange transportation to restaurants and additional places as you need. You can pay each ride in Cuba, or pre-paid with us so you don't spend your valuable cash in Cuba (remember no ATMs or credit cards). 

Some Additional Options for Activities.

Some of these require additional cost (e.g. Day trips)

  • Day trips

    • to Varadero - Beautiful and famous beach resort town (2 hour drive)

    • to Soroa - Terrazas - Eco tourism, Hiking, waterfalls. 

  • Tropicana Cabaret Show or Parisian Cabaret Show - Famous Cuban Shows. Think Vegas, Cuban style. 

  • Hemingway Tour - Visit places where the famous author lived, hung out, and got inspired.

  • Art Day - Visit community art projects, and private galleries and studios of new and hot artists.

  • Dinner with locals - Dinner hosted by local family. 

  • Castle/fortress tour - Explore one of the largest forts in the Americas. Beautiful architecture and amazing views. 

  • Fishing or Scuba diving.

  • We can combine, edit, and create other experiences if you have other interests/desires in mind.

  • Concierge services before and during your trip. We know the city and can recommend and help with reservations at restaurants, shows, and other things to do. We can also help setting up transportation. All of this can be planned in advance and pay through us so you don't have to worry about bringing extra cash to Cuba

  • All required documents and guidance to meet US restrictions on travel to Cuba

  • One host (me)  We will welcome everyone, provide guidance and assistance throughout the trip.  The host leads some activities, makes sure everything goes smoothly.

  • WiFi cards to access internet. One card per person. Each card would last an hour.  

  • Since it is a hotel, we won't be able to have drinks for you, but we will host, a couple of sunset round of drinks Round of drinks, Cocktail drinks during Drinks at the house to get you started! (Rum, beer, water - not unlimited)​ and snacks
