      • 2:15 PM - 04:00 PM - ​Tea Party tour of the city:  They'll take you round Big Ben, The Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, St James’s Park, Hyde Park, The Royal Albert Hall, Marble Arch, Nelson’s Column, Downing Street and more. The London sightseeing tour lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Tour departs at 2:30 PM. Please be on time.

        • This is about 25 min Taxi /Uber ride from the hotel.

        • This is about a 20 minute walk from the apartment.  You could get coffee and a pastry on the way. Take your time, plan accordingly.

      • 10:30 AM Entry - These are timed tickets.  Please plan accordingly to make it on time.  I got you the "passport" ticket which grants you access to all open spaces, and audio guides.  (See tickets here)

        • Included in the ticket:

          • the Palace with timed entry;

          • the estate of Trianon;

          • the temporary exhibitions;

          • the Gallery of Coaches (every weekend); 

          • the Sculptures and Mouldings Gallery (every weekend);

          • the Gardens of the Palace;

          • the Park.

          • In order for you to make the most of the Estate of Versailles, the Gardens are open from 8am, the Estate of Trianon from 12pm., the Gallery of Coaches and the Sculptures and Mouldings Gallery from 12.30pm.

      • The entire trip should take about one hour. 

        • Metros seem to pass every 7-10 minutes.

        • Trains seem to pass every 15 minutes.

      • The best way to get to Versailles from Paris is by Train.  Line C will be the one most convenient for you.  ​To get to the train, you will need to take the metro first. .

        • Around the corner from the hotel you can catch the Metro at the Maubert station. The line to take will be Line 10 (towards Boulogne Pont de Saint-Cloud.)   

        • You will take metro to the Javel station. Once there, look for the train; the train line will be Line C (towards Versailles Chateau Rive Gauche).

          • You can buy your tickets all the way to Versailles at the first Metro Station. Metro and Train systems are integrated.  Select as destination "Versailles Château Rive Gauche" from Maubert station.  You can buy roundtrip tickets. 

        • From Javel Take Line C to "Versailles Château Rive Gauche". From there it is a 10-15 minute walk to Versailles.

      • The entire trip should take about one hour. 

        • Metros seem to pass every 7-10 minutes.

        • Trains seem to pass every 15 minutes.

      • On the way back, walk to "Versailles Château Rive Gauche". Take the Line C (Towards the city), to the Javel Station, and there catch the Metro Line 10 (towards Gare D'austerlitz), and get off at the Maubert station.

Oct 28 - Nov 1  ROME - Apartment

  • You will be staying at a beautiful apartment in he heart of Rome

  • The apartment is located in the heart of the city, on the historic street of antiques. From there you can walk to Piazza Navona, Campo de' Fiori, the beautiful Fontana di Trevi, Piazza San Pietro, Via del Corso and the popular Piazza di Spagna. If you want to know more about main sites in the city, check out this page.  It's a site I like to reference sometimes for cultural recommendations. 

  • CHECK IN INFORMATION:  

    • ​You will be self checking in at your arrival. There is a chance Alojsia meets you as well to help you. 

      • She will reach out before check in to let you know if the apartment is ready early or not.  If it is not ready, you can still go to drop off bags. 

      • Feel free to contact her that day to coordinate as well.  

    • The check-in process is really easy: when you are in front of the building, open this link 

    • On that page, you will see 2 buttons. One is for the building door and the other is for the apartment door:

      • Tap the building door button when you are in front of the building.

      • A pop-up will open on your phone screen asking you to ring the bell INT. 9

      • Ring the bell INT. 9 and only after ringing, tap OK on the pop-up message on your phone and the door will open.

      • Repeat the same procedure on 1st floor to open the gate.

      • Climb up to the last floor, and then tap the button “porta appartamento” to open the door on the right. That’s it!
