First of all, thank you for considering us to plan your trip.  It would be an honor to curate this experience for you and your family. 

 

Based on your input I have put together the following proposal for you to review.  This plan includes options for accommodations and activities in Havana, and the Cuban Keys.  

 

Please take a look and let me know what you think.  What you like, what you don't like, what else you would like to see, etc.  

Accommodations

​

Havana

  • Apartment that provides privacy and comfort. Privately owned and run by locals. 

  • Centrally located, near major museums, great restaurants, bars, shops, and major attractions.

​

Viñales/Trinidad

  • Two rooms with private bathrooms in private homes located in the heard of the towns. Comfortables and very convenient. 

  • Hosts are available to help and provide guidance, as well as prepare breakfast and take care of the cleaning for you

​

Cayo (Coco or Largo)

  • Two rooms in all-inclusive resorts.  We looked for the ones with best rates, and most stars

  • They seem to be the Melia and the Pullman in Coco, and the Sol Club in Largo 

La Habana - Two Bedroom Apartment With A View

​

  • Recently restored. Spacious. Right across from the Capitolio.

  • Elegant and with a lot of charm and character.  

Possible Itineraries 

​OPTION ONE (Estimated Cost $4690)

 

This is the first itinerary I would like to propose to you.  This is for three nights in Havana, two nights in Trinidad, two in Cayo Coco, and then returning to Havana for the last night.

Day One  - Tuesday, Nov 13

​

  • 03:30 PM - Airport Pick ups - Driver will welcome you at the airport and take you to the apartment.  30 min drive. 

  • 04:30 PM -  Once Upon the Time - Once you are settled in, get ready to walk the streets of Old Habana with one of our favorite guides. Learn about history, best places to explore, and more.  Route can be influenced by any particular requests you might have.  This is a great way to see the touristic part and get to know the city from the start. 

  • Night Time. We can recommend and help you prepare for a fun night out (e.g. Dinner reservations, art shows, bars and clubs)

Day Two​​​ - Wednesday, Nov 14 

​

  • Free Morning to Explore Old town. We can provide suggestions for stops, and routes. 

  • 02::00 PM Revolution Museum - Guided visit to one of the most beautiful museums in Havana. This experience is educational and cultural. Nothing like hearing what happened as it is told by the government, and having the chance to discuss and share your own understanding.

  • Night Time. We can recommend and help you prepare for a fun night out (e.g. Dinner reservations, art shows, bars and clubs)​

Day Three - Thursday, Nov 15

​

  • Free Morning to other parts of town, like Vedado. We can provide suggestions for stops, and routes. 

  • 05:00 PM - Dinner with Locals - Enjoy of a lovely evening being hosted by a local family in their home.  A relaxing night full of good food, a coupe of cocktails.

Day Four/Five/Six - Friday Nov 16/Saturday Nov 17/Leaving Sunday 18​

​

  • Trinidad (Two Nights) - Beautiful architecture, large art and music scene, history, and gorgeous country side.  There are some known galleries and studios you could check out, as well as decent night scene and restaurants. 

  • Private transportation to Trinidad. Trinidad is located in the middle of the country.  Drive from Havana can be around 4 and 1/2 hours

  • We will schedule an early departure time so you get to enjoy most of the day there.  

  • For this trip, activities could be:

    • Walking/horseback riding tours in the countryside. Exploring farms and villages, and national parks, waterfalls. 

    • Walking tours of the city. History or art focused experiences.

    • Beach day. we can coordinate transportation for you to enjoy an afternoon at the beach. ONly 30 min aways from the city.  ​

Day Six/Seven/Eight - Sunday 18/Monday 19/Leaving Tuesday 20

​

  • Travel day. Private transportation to los Cayos. (2 to 3 hours) 

  • All inclusive resort for 2 nights 

  • We would arrange car rental so you can explore the area driving from one key to the other (One day).

Day Eight - Tuesday Nov 20

​

  • Private transportation to Havana. Early Morning.

  • Check in into Apartment around 02:00 PM

  • 05:00 PM Classic Riding - Enjoy the beauty of Habana one more time seeing other areas of the city onboard a beautiful convertible American Classic car. This experience is led by our favorite and most wanted guide. He knows about history and fun facts.  He will take you to multiple points of interest and some of his favorites spots too.  

  • Night Time. We can recommend and help you prepare for a fun night out (e.g. Dinner reservations, art shows, bars and clubs)

Day Nine - Wednesday Nov 21

​

  • Departure Day - Early shuttle to airport (05:30AM).   

​

​

Note:  Lunch/Dinner/Night Out - We can recommend for you great places for lunch. Let us know and we will be happy to make a reservation if you would like everyday. This service is included in the price. 

​

Additional Activity Options in(from) Havana

OTHER OPTIONS FOR ITINERARIES

 

Due to limitation on fly days and times, I have created multiple options for other itineraries if you prefer to fly to the Keys. These are the limitations to highlight:  

​

  1. Flights to and from Cayo Coco are only Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays

  2. Flights to and from Cayo Largo are available everyday

  3. Times of these flights are confirmed the day before by 4PM. They could be morning, afternoon, or even evening.  We would need to be flexible those dates

SUMMARY

 

For a plan of 8 nights/9 days, 4 people, we can offer:

 

  • Accommodation in the cities of your choice

  • Roundtrip Airport transportation in an American Classic Car in Havana

  • One activity per night you spend. (Except for the nights at the resort, and depending on flights' schedules)  

  • Cost of private transportation between cities. 

  • Cost of flights 

  • Rental car in the Keys for one day

  • Breakfasts in all locations

  • Concierge services before and during your trip. We know the city and can recommend and help with reservations at restaurants, shows, and other things to do. We can also help setting up transportation. 

  • Access to our local agent. Someone who is there to help you and guide you as needed. He will welcome you and go over your plan when you arrive, and will also be available to assist during the duration of your trip.

  • Assistance exchanging money at the best rate possible

  • All required paper work to meet US restrictions on travel to Cuba

  • A cell phone you can use to contact our local agent whenever he is needed. We include $40 CUC credit. 

  • We provide 8 WiFi cards so you can stay connected when you arrive (One hour each) 

  • We leave in the apartment a bottle of quality rum, and beers for you to enjoy during your stay (Havana)

Nazy I really appreciate you considering working me.  I know this is just the first proposal and there is still a lot of details to iron out, but I wanted to give you a view of what your itinerary could look like.
