Somethings to note
-
Nights out - Night life in Antigua is rather calm, but there are bars everywhere; breweries, whiskey bars, dive bars, etc. These are are just some I liked:
-
Barrio - Open courtyard with multiple bars. Cocktail bar, whisky bar, sports/Irsih bar, etc. It's fun, good drinks. All types of people in each place. Like this one there are others similar. Bars around courtyards in colonial houses. Feel free to explore.
-
La Casa Del Run - Upscale bar for cocktails, small bites, and rum tasting.
-
Gay Party on Saturday - Fridas - Mexican Rest that hosts a gay party last Saturday of the month. Only gay club night in Antigua.
-
Dance Club - Las Vibras de la Casbah - Late night in Antigua. Fun, Young crowd, top 40 music.
-
Cafe no se - Bar - Hipster vibe. Good drinks
-
-
Lunch/Dinners - There are also tons of restaurants. Usually pretty good. These are some I particularly like: Let me know if you are interested in any of them, or would like us to choose some to make reservations based on your preference:
-
More gourmet and elegant, but with cool vibe. Live music sometimes
-
Hector Bistro (Traditional, Steak)
-
Los Tres Tiempos (Traditional, Fusion)
-
-
More relaxed and lively.
-
Angie Angie Cafe Arte (Argentinian, Italian)
-
Sobremesa (Fusion)
-
-
Relaxed atmosphere ( No reservation necessary)
-
Rincon Tipico - Super informal, but really tasty traditional food.
-
Chermol - Beer garden, Local beers, tasty and heavy bar food.
-
Por que no? Cafe - Small, limited venue, Great food. A whole experience.
-
-
-
Transportation -
-
No need to reserve additional transportation within Antigua. The colonial area is very walkable.
-
In Atitlan, you would get boats that do rides between towns. Easy to coordinate with hotel.
-
Other Options for Activities in Antigua
-
ATV tours
-
Bike tour in Antigua
-
Coffee Plantation tour
-
Chocolate workshop
Let me know if there are any questions, special requests, or changes. We can continue to tailor this plan until you are completely satisfied.
THANK YOU
Accommodations
Antigua - Guatemla (4 nights)
-
I want for you colonial, elegant, green, beautiful, with great views and full of history.
-
I am suggesting two types of accommodations to choose from.
-
Option 1 will be 5 star hotels, with outdoor pool, spa, located in old convents, and great service
-
option 2 will be 4 star hotels that offer great service as well, but they are a bit smaller. Less options in the premisses.
-
-
Breakfast is served in all, but included in some.
-
All considered rooms have two beds.
-
When indicating the cost at the bottom, I will show the difference in price for each option.

Lake Atitlan (3 nights)
-
I have a great hotel by the water, beautiful architecture, and great service.
- Space is a bit more limited there, so rooms are smaller, but with incredible views.
- Room has a balcony, seating area, and a double and a single bed
- Breakfast is not included, but it is about $6 p/p if you want to order it at the hotel.

Tikal (1 night)
-
We have the option for a standard hotel or a "luxury hotel"
-
Both have 2 double bed rooms, with a pool, and great views
-
Breakfast and 2 lunches are included.

Guatemala City (1 night)
-
5 star hotel, in a safe walkable area for the first night.
