Our mission
WHO IS URSULA Hosting?
​
"Ursula" is inspired by the character Úrsula Iguaran from the book 'One Hundred Years of Solitude' by Colombian writer Gabriel Garcia Márquez.
In this Nobel Prize-winning novel, Ursula oversees the household for more than 100 years. She is the strongest and most caring character, always supporting others while ensuring the house was ready to host family and friends. We strive to offer that kind of dedication to every client.
"Hosting" refers to our passion to explore the world and sharing those experiences with loved ones. This fuels our inspiration to curate travel people can truly love and enjoy. We make sure our clients are happy when we host, as well as when we help them explore the world.
Ursula Hosting therefore represents a life style: love for traveling with others and sharing knowledge, curiosity for other cultures and destinations, and the desire to explore something new while staying connected.

HOW WE HELP YOU explore THE WORLD

We do the research, scout for locations that offer unique and exciting experiences, find beautiful and well located places where to stay, and curate activities our guests would enjoy. We offer these services to our clients in two ways:

hosted Experiences
​
Our hosted experiences pop-up in select destinations throughout the year providing travelers a safe place to unpack, unwind and discover something new. These trips celebrate the best of the local culture including food, traditions, entertainment, adventure and more.

Our experiences usually include accommodation, activities, local transportation, concierge services, some meals, cocktail hours, and much more.

Hosted experiences are a great way to travel if you would like to meet other travelers with similar interests, and share experiences together.

Curated Travel
​
Our curated travel is a more personalized and private way to travel; ideal for destination celebrations, romantic getaways, family trips, or traveling with friends.
We design itineraries upon request in any destination around the world, anytime. From where to stay to what to do, we would tailor the perfect trip for you based on your style, interests, and budget.

We take care of the research and coordination so our clients just have to show up.

We are always looking for new experiences. Here, Cuban artist Tony, hosted us for breakfast at his lovely house in Havana.
Our hosts find the best spots in town. We know our destinations. Ask Matt how good that piña colada was.
Lauren wanted a beautiful beach, with all the amenities, at a low price, away from the masses. We knew just the right place. She seemed happy!
We explore destinations, learn about their culture, partner with local experts, and prepare everything to welcome guests or curate the perfect trip for those who rather travel on their own.
